Joy is a true Unicorn and became well known in the North West when she showed. She is breathtakingly gorgeous and you can't help but stop and stare. Joy has a gorgeous long thin hooky neck, beautiful sculpted face, with long legs and a lovely refined body. Joy is not only a hard to beat halter mare but she was shown in Single Pleasure driving. We love our versatile mares here!

Joy's pedigree is really exciting on the dam's side, coming from straight foundation miniature horse bloodlines with Sids Rebel being her grandsire. It's really spectacular to have a mare that is so modern when you can see Sids Rebel directly on the 3 generation pedigree. It's the magic of the mini/shetland cross! The bottom side of her pedigree is loaded with tiny, 32" and under horses which will be exciting to cross on our stallion Spaz, who also has loads of tiny horses on his Dam side.

I took Joy out for a final show year in 2023. Joy enjoyed Supreme Halter & multiple Grand Champion awards, and retired after being crowned 2023 Canadian National Grand Champion Halter Mare and Canadian National Grand Single Pleasure Driver. She is currently enjoying her retirement on pasture, although if it was up to her she would be back in her show stall in the barn!
